The Shalestone guest house is located on the winery property. The structure is a timber frame with straw-bale walls and a natural stucco finish. It is finished off with Italian tiles and custom woodwork including the cabinets, doors, trim, bed frame and closets, all hand crafted by the owner.
It is a one bedroom, one bathroom timber frame house, with a full kitchen, washer + dryer and a living room looking out towards Seneca Lake. The bedroom looks out towards vineyards in the back.
The covered deck runs along the North side and is ideal for dining, rain or shine. A table with an umbrella for dining on the open deck and a second red cedar table on the vineyard side for covered dining.
Guests staying in October may have an opportunity to see our harvest being brought in and processed at our production site nearby.
Just across from the property is the entrance to one of the Finger Lakes National Forest Parks. A one mile hike down to the lake brings you to Caywood Point. Jump in for a refreshing swim or sit and enjoy the spectacular view.
Rentals are $250/Night April thru November with a 2 night minimum. (Discount rate on week rentals)
